Is it possible to compensate people who were subjected to forced labor under National Socialism? This interactive e-learning course explains why it took so long for the injustices committed against forced laborers during the National Socialist era to be acknowledged. In doing so, it also traces the history of the EVZ Foundation’s establishment, inviting participants to explore the dilemmas and challenges that arose along the way. Engaging with this historical case encourages reflection on injustices in the past and present, as well as on the question of reparations.
